Tasteful Anthology is a charity anthology, to support Philabundance and other local food banks. It’s chock full of delicious stories about cannibalism! We had our call for stories in March, 2024, and announced the TOC in July 2024 (see below for the full list of stories and authors).

You can get your own copy starting on December 15, 2024.

Q. How can I get Tasteful?

A. There are a few different ways for you to get your grubby little hands on our delicious little stories! Since this is a charity anthology, every option will support food banks, but in a couple of different ways.

  1. (Preferred method): Donate at least $10 to Philabundance, or your local community food bank, and submit a copy of your receipt to this form. Your receipt must be dated on or after December 15, 2024. If you are a regular supporter of your local community food back, you can instead send us proof of a monthly donation (date of receipt unimportant as long as it’s clear a donation will be made in December 2024). We’ll send you an ebook copy of Tasteful as a thank you for your donation.
  2. Donate at least $10 to the Tasteful Anthology Ko-Fi. Ko-Fi goes through PayPal, and PayPal takes a cut ($.84 out of that $10), so this method will result in a slightly smaller donation. Donations through Ko-Fi will be sent by us to Philabundance.
  3. Buy it on Amazon ($15 for an ebook or $20 for a paperback [coming soon!]). The prices are higher here, because Amazon takes such a big cut (from $15, we’ll get $5.25 to donate). But Amazon is convenient, and it’s also a great place to receive reviews! We hope you’ll leave a review, whether you send us a receipt or buy a copy on Amazon. Proceeds from Amazon sales will be sent by us to Philabundance.

Q. Where can I leave a review?

A. You can leave a review of Tasteful on the Amazon page, on Goodreads, and on StoryGraph. You can also review on your social media, your blog, your podcast, your YouTube channel. Tell your friends! Leave a review wherever you can. If you have a podcast and you’d like to invite the curators on to talk about the project, please email us, we’d love to talk to you.

Q. How will I know how much the project is donating to Philabundance?

A. We will keep track of all donations (receipts, Ko-Fi donations, and Amazon sales) in an online spreadsheet, which is publicly visible. All donations will be anonymous, but it will be easy for donors to see how well the project has been supported.

Q. Who is the brains behind the anthology?

A. Curators are Cassandra Daucus, Cat Voleur, and Iseult Murphy. Contributing authors include both new and established writers.

Q. What charity is the anthology supporting?

A. Philabundance is long-standing (founded 1984), well-regarded, and makes a huge impact in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. All profits from sales of Tasteful will be donated to Philabundance, and we’ll be running promotions to support various local food banks (including yours!).

Q. How many stories will be in Tasteful?

A. The Tasteful Anthology will include 21 stories.

Q. Will there be art?

A. Yes! Iseult Murphy is creating original art for every story. We’ll share more about the art when we get closer to publication day.

Q. Do you have a cover?

A. Yes, we have a cover! The cover is by A. A. Medina of Fabled Beast Design and is 100% AI free.
